ANTI-WRINKLE
|
Wrinkles and fine lines on the face are one of the most visible signs of ageing.
These fine lines and wrinkles are caused by the breakdown of collagen and elastin in the skin. As we all age, our bodies don't produce enough collagen to replenish what has been lost. Over a period of time the skin begins to lose its strength and elasticity.
As the name suggests, anti-wrinkle injections reduce wrinkles formed by the muscles of facial expression. A substance called Botulinum Toxin is a purified protein that is injected safely into the small facial muscles that cause wrinkles, it blocks nerve signals that make your facial muscles contract. This causes the muscles to fully relax and softens wrinkles in the process. It’s a simple but effective treatment that helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
